Rainey Shane brings over two decades of experience in urban development and strategic consulting to her role as Founder and Principal Consultant at Elevare. With a background spanning real estate development, adaptive reuse, and community revitalization, Rainey has been a driving force behind some of the most transformative projects in Atlanta and beyond.
Her expertise in navigating complex urban landscapes, coupled with a passion for creating equitable and sustainable communities, forms the cornerstone of Elevare's approach. Rainey's portfolio includes iconic projects such as Ponce City Market and the revitalization of South Downtown Atlanta, showcasing her ability to blend historical preservation with modern urban needs.
In addition to her work with Elevare, Rainey is the founder and creator of SEAM, Inc. (Social Equity Assessment Method), an innovative social equity certification framework for commercial real estate. Through SEAM (seamcertification.org), Rainey has pioneered a new approach to ensuring that real estate development contributes positively to social equity, setting new standards for responsible and community-focused commercial projects.
